The 4 Es

When you're ready to invest in the overhaul of your DEI Strategy, it can be confusing knowing where to start. I usually recommend starting at some point in the Four E cycle. 

Our process, called 'The 4 Es' (which stands for evidence, experience, education, and evaluation), approaches diversity and inclusion work in a unique way. We value underrepresented voices and work to establish the intersectionality of people, values, and core pillars in your organisation. Whilst we recommend you come into the cycle at 'evidence' you can enter at any point and feel confident that our processes will feed into continued work.

Of course, we are happy to offer any portion of these phases alone or combined differently in a bespoke way that works for you.

The 4 Es allows us to gather evidence, acknowledge lived experience, build education, and evaluate the impact.

evidence

SRC CIC will speak with various stakeholders throughout the business to carry out a thorough audit/culture review of numerous areas as related the current demographics and culture of the organisation. 

experience

SRC CIC runs focus groups and interviews which centre the lived experience of historically excluded and marginalised groups. 

education

Whether through webinars, talks, workshops, and reflective sessions, SRC CIC works collaboratively to create a bespoke educational plan that addresses concerns raised in the gap analysis.

evaluation

Through impact assessments, SRC CIC will work collaboratively with you to assess change. SRC CIC will run a theory of change workshop and create a vision in a session to align learnings to actionable steps and then we will assess the impact of those sessions on forward movement of the partner organisation.

 

 

SRC CIC is skilled in creating gap analyses and reports based on any findings from evidence and experience and benchmarking these findings in impactful and meaningful ways. This positions us to create a meaningful set of recommendations for next steps for you.
